A LOT HAS HAPPENED since Girls Aloud split up for good (sob) back in 2013.
Cheryl’s a judge on the X Factor and successful pop star, Kimberly’s been on Strictly, Nadine sings with Michael Flatley, and Nicola is a respected songwriter.
Sarah Harding has been the quietest of the bunch, but recently popped up on Coronation Street (to poor reviews) and is now taking a stab at a solo career.
Harding was on Lorraine Kelly’s ITV chat show this morning to perform her new solo single, Threads:
Almost immediately, viewers began accusing Harding of miming - some noted that she was standing quite far away from the microphone a lot of the time.
Others believed she wasn’t even moving her mouth in time to the words.
Standard miming practices, you would think.
Harding hasn’t responded to the accusations yet, but she did retweet this fan’s plea for everyone to give her a break.
If you want to see how she fares as a live singer, check out her performance of the song on Saturday Night With Miriam last week:
Bring back Girls Aloud, we say. *puts The Promise on repeat*
