We got you.
1. The Pool
The Pool The Pool
Founded earlier this year by Lauren Laverne and Sam Baker, The Pool bills itself as a website for “busy women”.
With bitesized articles and opinion pieces on everything from Jeremy Corbyn to learning to cycle as an adult, it’s a winner.
2. Broadly
Broadly is an offshoot of Vice, dedicated to content that represents “the multiplicity of women’s experiences”. So far, there have been well-reported features on sex workers, Caitlin Moran, dildos and Charlotte Church.
Something for everyone, so.
3. Reductress
Reductress Reductress
Not unlike The Onion, Reductress satirises all the guff you see in women’s magazines. Sample headlines? “Is He Into You or Just Kind?” and “The Best White Dresses For Letting Everyone Know Your Period Is Two Weeks Away”.
Make sure to follow them on Twitter.

Your one-stop shop for everything to related to beauty/make-up. Into The Gloss is a treasure trove of tips/tutorials.
Arguably the best part of the site, however, is The Top Shelf, a feature that sees celebrities/gorgeous women reveal the intricacies of their beauty routine. If you ever wanted to know what cleanser Khloe Kardashian uses, look no further.
5. The Hairpin
The Hairpin The Hairpin
You probably know The Hairpin already. If not, it’s time to get acquainted. From confessional essays to advice columns to hilarious comic strips, it’s the type of site you can get lost in.
And if you still haven’t seen Women Laughing Alone With Salad, please do yourself a favour and fix that now.
6. Standard Issue
Standard Issue Standard Issue
A UK-based website featuring essays from a whole variety of funny women, Standard Issue even boasts an endorsement from none other than Sarah Millican. Love Sarah Millican? You’ll love Standard Issue.
Do it.
7. The Cut
The Cut is New York Magazine’s section for women and quite often hosts some of the sharpest journalism on the internet. That powerful piece about Bill Cosby’s accusers? On The Cut. This rather excellent Serena Williams feature? On The Cut.
Bookmark it, y’all.
8. The Coven
The Coven The Coven
The Coven is a group blog founded by Irish journalist Sarah Waldron. It hosts essays from a medley of Irish female writers and is very much worth diving into.
