Shaggy has an unlikely family connection to Dundalk -- here's what you need to know
YESTERDAY WE TOLD you that Shaggy was, rather randomly, on his holidays in Ireland.
In Galway, to be precise.
This morning, Shaggy appeared on 98FM's Ray Foley Show for a chat and he made a shocking revelation.
Sorry, what?
Oh my God.
Shaggy later clarified that his wife, Rebecca Packer Burrell, is half-Irish and half-Jamaican. Her mother is Dr. Veronica Salter, an Irishwoman who moved to Jamaica in the early 1970s and worked as a psychotherapist and counselor.
So now they're all here on a family holiday in Galway.

Who knew, eh?
It looks like Shaggy's Irish adventures are set to continue as the singer told Ray Foley that the family are going to Dublin today.
Keep your eyes peeled, Dubliners.
