EARLIER THIS WEEK, Sinead O’Connor announced that she would be undergoing a hysterectomy.

And on Wednesday the singer went into surgery… andliveblogged the whole thing on Facebook.

Naturally, she was a little scared.

And so she wondered aloud what would happen if she were to back out.

But soon she was at peace with the whole thing — although she did have one last request.

All of a sudden, things got very real.

But her commitment to her fans didn’t go unnoticed <3

She then revealed that Tayto would never quite be the same for her… and employed “feeling shocked” to great effect

Fortunately the surgery appears to have gone well with O’Connor telling fans yesterday that she was “very sore but happy”.
