NEW DAD GIL Solano is going hugely viral after he took a selfie with his wife – while she was giving birth. Eeek!

The Colorado man posted the photo to Reddit, saying:

My wife wanted to make sure that someone took a picture of the expression on our faces when our daughter was born today. So I took one.

Your first reaction was probably ”Oh my god. She’s going to KILL HIM”, right? But according to BuzzFeed, Gil’s wife Sarah was grand with the picture being taken:

I had been pushing for a few hours and Gil showed it to me to help take my mind off things and make me laugh. I thought it was hilarious and told him he should send it to some of our friends.

Their daughter was born just a few minutes later, and the picture proved so popular that Gil decided to post it on Reddit, where it has been viewed over two million times.

Let’s hope this doesn’t become a trend. We have a feeling Sarah’s patience is an anomaly.
