BURGLARS HIT LAS Vegas taco shop Frijoles and Frescas in the early hours of Wednesday, December 12, making off with two cash registers.
CCTV footage from the restaurant shows one robber entering the premises after breaking a glass door with a rock, then ripping the registers off the counter.
An awful thing to happen to any business owner, right? But instead of simply asking the public for help tracking down the thieves, the manager decided to turn the footage into an ad, implying that the burglars were spurred on by their love for Frijoles’ fine tacos.
Genius.
The resulting ad went viral on Facebook, where it was viewed millions of times and became the source of many a taco craving.
And to top it all off? The restaurant told Las Vegas News 3 that there was no cash in either of the registers stolen. Bravo, Frijoles!
