Australian TV presenter Edwina Bartholemew caused a bit of a ruckus online after turning up to the Oscars in this dress:
She looks radiant, obviously, but her Facebook and Instagram followers were quick to point out that the ruching on the front of the dress looks a lot like… female genitalia.
Oh dear.
Nice, but why is there a uterus on your dress?
Your face and body are to die for… But sorry, the thing on the dress looks like a part of the female anatomy.
Lose the vajayjay and it would have been perfect.
Bartholemew told Aussie radio station KIIS FM that she wasn’t totally clueless about what the dress looked like:
Hahaha, I did know they might call it ‘the vagina dress’, and I still wore it anyway!
She took the slagging well, though. Fair play.
