YOU CAN ALWAYS rely on Twitter to help out a man in need.
Twitter user @Dan_EFC1878 and his son were due to go to this afternoon’s FA Cup semi-final between Everton and Manchester United.

He posted this heartbreaking photo of his son and revealed that they were heading home, dejected and disappointed.
But then something magic happened. Virgin Trains tweeted at the pair to say that they would endeavor to get them on another service.

While boxer and fellow Everton fan Tony Bellew also got in touch to offer the pair two tickets to his bout in Goodison Park in May.
All’s well that ends well, eh?
