ON FRIDAY NIGHT, Singaporean swimmer Joseph Schooling beat Michael Phelps to take the gold medal in the 100M Butterfly.

And thousands of miles away, a University of Texas student gazed at her Tinder forlornly, thinking about what could have been.

Twitter user @sabwow shared screenshots from a Tinder conversation she had had with Schooling back in April.
