These puntastic bench signs in Marlay Park are a true Dublin treasure

DUBLIN IS FULL of strange little details - and new ones are popping up every day.

Reader Andy Byrne was strolling through Marlay Park yesterday when he noticed these tiny plaques on some benches near the playground:

Dedicated to ‘Ben Shmark’. A man who always set the standard very high for others to follow.

In loving memory of ‘Ben Shwarmer’, always there whenever you needed him but he was rarely ever needed.

Somewhere out there, a dad is remembering his little prank and CRACKING UP.
