TOMORROW, PEOPLE across America will be celebrating Thanksgiving with a big old turkey dinner.
If you’re celebrating, or you just fancy getting into some turkey and cranberry a month early, here’s where you can find some in Dublin.
The Fitzwilliam Hotel, Stephen’s Green
Are you feeling fancy this Thanksgiving? Then you might want to take yourself to the Fitzwilliam Hotel, which is serving a slap-up turkey dinner (€40 for three courses) until Saturday the 26th.
They also have special cocktails, including a Pumpkin Pie Martini. Hmm.
The Merry Ploughboy, Rathfarnham
The Merry Ploughboy celebrates the holiday every year, and this one is no different. Along with the meal, there will be live music AND Irish dancing, so you’re being spoiled, really.
The Woolshed, Parnell Street
The Woolshed is serving a full turkey dinner tomorrow, along with all the major sporting events from the US. Sure it’ll be like you’re there!
Beaufield Mews, Stillorgan
Another fancy option, Beaufield Mews is doing Thanksgiving dinner all day tomorrow – there’s also live music and a quiz that will test your knowledge of the USA.
The Boxty House, Temple Bar
The Boxty House normally serves traditional Irish food, but they’re crossing over to provide a Thanksgiving feast tomorrow. There’s also warm cider and a cosy fire to help ward off the chill.
The Old Storehouse, Temple Bar
Another Temple Bar establishment providing an invaluable service to those away from home tomorrow, The Old Storehouse will host a Thanksgiving evening with a meal, live music, and screenings of NFL games. Ideal.
Bonus: Fallon & Byrne, Exchequer Street
They may not have the full experience, but they have whipped up some pecan and pumpkin pies especially for the occasion. DIVINE.
