IT WAS PRETTY nippy out there last night, but Met Éireann may have been exaggerating slightly when delivering the forecast for the West of Ireland.
On last night’s Nine O’Clock Weather, the map of Ireland showed temperatures of -1 degree celsius, 2 degrees celsius, 4 degrees celsius — the usual, you know yourself.
But just look at the number appearing over the West…
-13, you say? Well that’s quite the dip in temperatures.
Needless to say, the error did not go unnoticed.
“Get the electric blanket out, Mammy. It’s like Siberia out there tonight.”
