IS IT JUST us, or has Pointless been extra good lately? First that iconic, friendship ending answer, and now this.
On yesterday’s show, contestants Tasha and Jo bagged the Pointless jackpot of £2250 after being asked to name a goalscorer in the Euro 2000 championship.
The pair chose Swedish footballer Henrik Larsson – because Tasha’s boyfriend told her before she went on the show that the answer to any football question, any one at all, would be Henrik Larsson.

Tasha explained to hosts Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman that they owed the win to her boyfriend Alex:
My boyfriend is a massive Celtic supporter, and he knows I’m rubbish with names and things like that. And he said, anything football-related – he’s played for Man U, he’s played for Celtic, and Barcelona I think – and he said, “Go for Henrik Larsson.” And it paid off!
