LAST NIGHT, MILLIONS tuned into Super Bowl LI to witness the New England Patriots defeat the Atlanta Falcons in a stunning overtime victory.
As we all know, however, the real highlight of the Super Bowl is the halftime show and last night was no different with Lady Gaga treating the world to thirteen minutes of pure, unadulterated joy.
She opened her performance with a rendition of God Bless America and This Land Is Your Land before reciting the pledge of allegiance.
Many saw the inclusion of This Land Is Your Land as a nod to the recent protests against President Trump’s travel ban.
She then LEAPED INTO THE AIR to reveal over 300 drones forming an American flag.
Subtle.
From there, Lady Gaga dipped into her back catalogue to perform hits like Poker Face, Telephone, Born This Way and Bad Romance.
All while serving up fierce glances and shoulder pads.
Notably she performed Born This Way — a song that celebrates inclusion, diversity and tolerance — to a crowd that included Vice President Mike Pence. (Pence has a less than stellar record when it comes to LGBT rights.)
She also got the crowd to hold Statue of Liberty torches
We see you, Gaga.

The overall consensus? She killed it.
Even Ivanka thought so.
Er…
Here’s her performance in full.
Oh, and fancy seeing Lady Gaga for yourself? She announced a world tour immediately after the halftime performance
*keeps fingers crossed for Dublin date*
