ORLANDO BLOOM is famous for his roles in Pirates of the Caribbean and The Lord of the Rings, yes, but these days we seem to hear more about him paddleboarding naked and bedding waitresses.
His mam has had quite enough of that, so she’s reminding the media what Orlando actually does – by sending a copy of his CV to every national newspaper in the UK.
Several newspapers have reported receiving a four-page document from Sonia Copeland-Bloom, detailing everything from her son’s filmography right down to his O-Level results.
There’s also a small bio with the story of his “meteoric rise to fame” as well as some quotes from reviews calling him “fabulously uncomplicated and effortlessly sexy”.
She included a rather pointed note with the CV, saying: “I have the pleasure in enclosing a copy of his CV which is both up to date and 100% accurate.”
Is this his way of looking for work experience? You can be honest, Orly.
Sonia has been going to bat for her son quite a bit over the past few weeks, writing in to their local paper to defend him after he used the term ‘pikey’ on Nick Grimshaw’s radio show:
I think anyone listening would have known it was said jokingly about the place where he was born and bred. Orlando, I feel sure, was referring to the fact he enjoys mixing with people from all walks of life.
She’s about two weeks away from asking him if he’d think of going for a job in the civil service. Good steady work that is, Orlando. No bad press.
