TODAY IN THE topsy-turvy world we now inhabit… Vogue Williams is calling for the internment of Muslim extremists.
Yes, seriously. In her column for the Sunday World yesterday, the model/reality TV star wrote that internment camps are a “grim necessity” in the wake of the Manchester and London attacks.
Williams referenced the Muslim former police chief Tarique Ghaffur, who advocates for internment:
She conceded that internment “didn’t work” with IRA members in Northern Ireland, but says it’s different nowadays.
Her column has been greeted with some amount of bafflement and derision from people online:

Vogue has yet to respond to any criticism of her article – but she also mentioned in the column that she is stepping back from social media due to intense scrutiny of her relationship with fellow reality TV stalwart Spencer Matthews.
