You can kind of tell, but he wrote the movie when he was sixteen.

YESTERDAY WAS THE tenth birthday of Seth Rogen’s comedy Superbad, a movie that was a very big part of pop culture up until a couple of years ago.

McLovin would now be 35, according to his iconic Hawaiian driver’s license. To celebrate, Rogen took to Twitter to share some Superbad trivia.

Danny McBride of Sausage Party and Alien Covenant was just chilling in the background at the party apparently.

The director’s brother was the designated dick-drawer. Pete Wentz shared his disappointment at the fact they never made a coffee table book of Dave Goldberg’s artwork.

The period blood scene was based on true events. It didn’t seem realistic at the time and it still doesn’t now, but apparently it’s true.

As you would expect with Seth Rogen, the conception of the title ‘Superbad’ occurred while smoking weed.

They broke down some real boundaries in the world of film.

Nobody even realised that the movie was filmed in a very historically significant neighbourhood.

Mrs. Rogen was involved in the creative process.

The movie is responsible for coining the phrase ‘DTF’.

Even more shockingly, he wrote the entire movie with a friend when they were 16.

The characters were based off of Rogen and his friends.

It’s kind of heartwarming to think that the idiotic ideas you have with friends as a teenager can eventually turn into something as big as Superbad was.
