9 feelings everyone has about that An Post ad with the shrieking child
AN POST RECENTLY launched AddressPal, a rather nifty service that allows Irish customers to shop on websites that don’t ship to Ireland.
They decided to promote said service with a television ad that depicts a little girl opening a present and shrieking “OH YEAH, OH YEAH, OH YEAH!” for several seconds. It’s a cute ad, but not when you’re subjected to it every hour…
Shhhhhh.
“Not that bloody ad again.”
Whoops!

“Christ alive, who signed off on this ad?”
“I can’t mute this quickly enough.”
“What happened to using your indoor voice?”
Is this child hyper after having too much sugar? Is that what this is?
“Is An Post in bed with Panadol to cause headaches and sell painkillers? Is this some sort of wash, rinse, repeat scam?”
*strokes chin*
“I am boycotting An Post.”
“How do teachers deal with screaming children all day?”
Whoops!

“This ad should definitely be played in sex ed classes.”
If anything were to promote safe sex and abstinence…
“Can I ask An Post for compensation?”
Anyone up for filing a class action suit against An Post?
Whoops!
