Duran Duran were joined on stage by the Dublin Gospel Choir at Electric Picnic

THERE WAS PLENTY of criticism of Electric Picnic’s lineup due to what many perceived to be a clear lack of acts that could be considered big names.
However, last night Duran Duran’s performance shut everyone up. With a heap of songs that literally everyone knows (Save a Prayer, Girls on Film, Rio – now who wouldn’t want to hear those songs at a festival?), the 55,000 attendees were not let down.
Jokes were made about the crowd that they’d draw out:
Whoops!
We couldn't find this Tweet
Yet plenty of people were raging that they missed the show.
And people who made it were largely impressed.
If the video won’t play, you can watch it here.
They even brought the Dublin Gospel Choir on stage with them for Save a Prayer.
A nice touch.
