It took this UFC fighter a whole year to think of a comeback to Conor McGregor slagging him
IN SEPTEMBER OF 2016, Conor McGregor attended a press conference with a host of other fighters ahead of UFC 205.
At one point, he was interrupted by a fighter called Jeremy Stephens, who claimed he could give McGregor the ‘hardest fight out of anybody on stage’.
When he was finished, McGregor turned around and said:
The quip has become one of McGregor’s best-known lines, and has haunted Stephens ever since… but one year on, he’s finally gotten his own back. Kind of.
