The world's strongest man made an appearance on BBC Breakfast and he did not disappoint
THIS YEAR’S WINNER of the World’s Strongest Man competition was 410lb Englishman Eddie Hall. The 29-year-old is 6’2″, and is so strong that he could probably lift two of himself without much strain.
He set the world record for the heaviest deadlift in 2016 by lifting 1,100lbs. The previous record had been set by him earlier that day – 1,025lbs. He’s going into retirement now, due to health concerns but he definitely still has the ability to provide years worth of entertainment.
This morning’s episode of BBC Breakfast was a prime example of this.
BBC’s Dan Walker asked Eddie if he could lift him up over his head for the laugh. Although they hadn’t practiced beforehand (Eddie joked that they should have beforehand), Eddie picked Dan up with very little difficulty and casually held him over his head.
Eddie was also challenged to fold a frying pan.
Here are the presenters making sure the pan is legit.

When he finally does fold the frying pan, he makes it look as difficult as removing the lid from a particularly stubborn jar.

Here’s the frying pan once Eddie was finished with it.
Imagine the things you could do if you were as strong as this guy. The possibilities would be endless. When did he first discover he could roll up a frying pan? How did that even come about? So many questions.
