The actor who played Oliver in Hannah Montana is becoming very popular because of his weird tweets

Six years after the show ended, he’s suddenly all over Twitter.

IT’S EXTREMELY HARD to believe that Hannah Montana only ended six years ago.

Seriously. How has Miley Cyrus done all of that in only six years? In the interim since Hannah Montana, Cyrus has released three albums (Bangerz, Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz, and this year’s title Younger Now) and been in seven movies.

She broke up with Liam Hemsworth, got back with him, became the topic of a New York college’s sociology class (The Sociology of Miley Cyrus: Race, Class, Gender and Media), came out as pansexual, started doing drugs, stopped doing drugs and amassed a fortune of $200 million.

Miley’s costar Mitchel Musso, who played Oliver in Hannah Montana, has approached life at a much more relaxed pace.

The 26-year-old has largely been out of the public eye, offering some voice acting for Phineas and Ferb and another cartoon called Milo Murphy’s Law. As far as everybody’s concerned, he’s still the same poorly dressed boy we knew from Hannah Montana. Some of us (me) remember him mostly because he was a dressable character from Stardoll.

In terms of appearance, Mitchel has definitely grown up a lot. He also fancies himself as a bit of a rapper. Here is a video to demonstrate both of those facts:

Aside from his rap videos, Musso has been posting some pretty funny tweets lately.

Earlier this week he publicly questioned what was up with his wardrobe on the Disney Channel.

It only took six years for people to realise how bad this outfit was.

In fairness, most of us just assumed that all American people dressed like that.

Lately, he’s been tweeting a lot of Hannah Montana and Disney Channel references.

He also used his Twitter to encourage people to kneel during the national anthem.

Mostly, he uses his Twitter to offer dating advice to straight men.

And occasionally reminds people to do “whatever tf” they want.

In 2017, Mitchel Musso’s tweets mainly fit into three wildly different categories:

  • Hannah Montana content
  • Dating tips
  • Encouragement of self-determination
