TOM HANKS HAS been on the Graham Norton Show quite a few times, and the pair always seem to get along like a house on fire.
Which is maybe why the actor decided to send fellow author Graham a signed copy of his new collection of short stories, Uncommon Type.

Sounds perfectly lovely, except finding the signature turned out to be a little more work (and a little more insulting) than you’d expect it to be.
Graham was reading the book when, on page 57, he discovered a scrawled message:

“See Tom Hanks didn’t think I’d bother to read his brilliant new book, Uncommon Type. Wrong!” wrote the presenter on Twitter.
It’s a good way of checking, to be fair. Foiled again, Hanks.
