Aer Lingus had an excellent Donald Trump style response to Saoirse Ronan's SNL sketch

They were only short of calling SNL ‘fake news’.

FEW PEOPLE WERE happy with Saoirse Ronan’s Aer Lingus sketch on Saturday Night Live.

We’ve all seen the spats between Aer Lingus and Ryanair on Twitter, so it was really only a matter of time until the airline publicly reacted to Ronan’s sketch.

First, they uploaded a poll, asking what viewers thought of the sketch. 66% gave it a thumbs down and people commented that it was “full of cliches and stereotypes.”

Shortly after, Aer Lingus tweeted about it again.

This time, they wrote it in the style of one of Donald Trump’s angry tweets that we see so often. They wrote:

Just tried watching Saturday Night Live – unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Ronan impersonation just can’t get any worse. Sad

They were only short of saying that SNL is fake news. Here is the original tweet that they were parodying.

Here’s the video if, for some reason, you want to put yourself through this.
