Vogue UK has labelled seven British women 'the new suffragettes' of 2018

THIS YEAR BRITAIN are celebrating the hundred year anniversary of women securing right to vote.
The first major British celebration of women began with the all-female soundtrack to London’s New Year’s firework display. The second, well… It was putting an all-female lineup on Celebrity Big Brother for three days. Slightly cheaper than the first, there’s no denying that.
Four days into 2018, Vogue UK have decided to list the women they believe to be the modern suffragettes.
The lineup includes Sophie Walker (leader of the Women’s Equality Party), writer Reni Eddo-Lodge, Labour MP Stella Creasy, Journalist Paris Lees, Blogger Dina Torkia, artist Gillian Wearing and the founder of online magazine Gal-Dem, Liv Little.

In a video put together by Vogue, the women list out some of their beliefs.
They begin by saying “You know you’ve reached equality when…”

Then they all offer their opinions on what “one thing that would improve the lives of women” would be. The answers included:
