What to watch on TV tonight: Wednesday

The TV everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Tommy Tiernan Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

Another episode of the comedian’s chat show with a difference – it’s completely improvised, as he doesn’t know who his guest will be until he claps eyes on them. #tommytiernan

The Truth About Looking Good (BBC1, 8pm)

Presenter Cherry Healy and a team of scientists put everyday beauty products to the test – do moisturisers do exactly what they claim to do, and can anything really ‘fix’ cellulite? This should be interesting.

Kiri (Channel 4, 9pm)

This new four-part drama stars Sarah Lancashire as a social worker who gets caught up in an investigation after a young girl goes missing during a supervised visit. She soon finds herself blamed by the press, the police, and even her colleagues. #kiri

  • Vikings (RTÉ2, 9pm) New season of the historical drama, shot in Ireland.
  • School for Stammerers (TV3, 9pm) Documentary following six people trying to gain control of their stammers.
  • 22 Jump Street (ITV2, 9pm) Sequel to the entertaining buddy cop film, starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill.
  • Survivor: Millennials vs Gen X (TG4, 10.15pm) This sounds awful but also really addictive? As the title suggests, two generations try to survive on a desert island.
