Serena Williams' baby just made the cover of Vogue at the ripe old age of 4 months

At this rate of going, she’ll be president by 19.

ALEXIS OLYMPIA OHANIAN Jr has had a very eventful life for someone who was just born in September.

Her mam Serena Williams won the 2017 Australian Open while she was nine weeks pregnant; when she was two months old she was the guest of honour at her parents’ glitzy wedding; and a month later, she did a photoshoot for Vogue.

At four months, she’s now the youngest-ever cover star, pictured on the front of the February issue with her ma:

That’s right, get a good handful her hair. Ah, beautiful.

In the accompanying interview, it was revealed that Olympia’s birth did not go smoothly. Serena had to get an emergency c-section after which she developed several blood clots in her lungs, requiring extra surgery.

After recuperating for a few weeks, she married her partner Alexis Ohanian in a lavish New Orleans wedding – but before she has more babies, she wants to get more Grand Slams.

Just the one or two, in order to beat the world record of 24 held by Australian tennis ace Margaret Court (Serena currently has 23).

I think having a baby might help. When I’m too anxious I lose matches, and I feel like a lot of that anxiety disappeared when Olympia was born. Knowing I’ve got this beautiful baby to go home to makes me feel like I don’t have to play another match.
I don’t need the money or the titles or the prestige. I want them, but I don’t need them. That’s a different feeling for me.

Serena was lined up to play the Australian Open this year but withdrew last week, saying she didn’t feel prepared to “go all the way”.

I can compete – but I don’t want to just compete, I want to do far better than that and to do so, I will need a little more time. The memory of last year’s Open is one that I will carry with me, and Olympia and I look forward to coming back again.
