What to watch on TV tonight: Wednesday

The TV everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Tommy Tiernan Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

Tommy Tiernan’s back with another episode from the new series of his chat show. Unlike with other chat shows, we can’t tease who he’ll be talking to this evening because we don’t know. He doesn’t even know. That’s the point of the whole show. Every night, Tommy doesn’t find out who he’s going to be talking to until they walk out onto the stage.

Mammy Guilt: True Lives (TV3, 9pm)

Karen Koster’s new documentary about the guilt that a lot of working parents feel when they try to balance their careers and children. In this documentary, Karen meets all kinds of working mothers, including those who have to live away from their children and women who work in childcare all day, with other people’s kids. She also speaks to American professor Jay Belsky about the potential consequences of sending your kids to a creche every day.

Millionaires’ Ex-Wives Club (BBC Two, 9pm)

Michelle Young has been to 65 court hearings, has 13 sets of lawyers involved in her divorce and has been pursuing her half of her ex-husband’s money for 11 years. Most people wouldn’t be arsed, but when there’s hundreds of millions of pounds at stake, you might as well.
