Bernard O'Shea got the cutest letter from a little girl who loves Dancing With The Stars

And a little chocolate treat, “in case you need energy”.

DANCING WITH THE Stars is back on RTÉ, and another crop of Irish celebrities are throwing themselves around a dancefloor for our amusement.

The show is just two weeks in, but already the contestants are getting letters of support from fans of the show.

Today, 2fm presenter Bernard O’Shea posted a super cute note (and little treat) he got from a young fan on Instagram:

Ten-year-old Molly from Co Clare wrote:

I was going to write to the President but I decided to write to you instead. My twin sister got a letter from the Queen last year and my brother got a letter from Chelsea FC, so I’m the only one in my family without a letter from a celebrity. I’m hoping you’ll reply to me if you get the chance in between your dance rehearsals with Valeria.

In the rest of the letter, she offers Bernard some support after some harsh comments from the judges and host Nicky Byrne last week:

It’s unfair that Brian gave you a two, you deserved more than that. I hope you do well in the competition, you’re one of my favourites to watch as well as Marty. Don’t listen to what Nicky said about hunks [this could also be 'kicks' but we're not 100% sure].

Attaching a chocolate bar, she wrote: “Here’s a treat for you and Valeria if you need energy.”

Well he HAS to reply now. And why not get her to the show? The ball is firmly in your court, Bernard.
