What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

This is the telly everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DAILYEDGE.IE ROUNDS UP the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Ireland’s Got Talent (TV3, 7.30pm)

It’s the first outing of the talent show, and we’re interested to see how it all goes down – tonight, judges Louis Walsh, Jason Byrne, Denise Van Outen and Michelle Visage audition the first bunch of hopefuls. #GotTalentIRL

The Ray D’Arcy Show (RTÉ One, 10pm)

So this is wild: Amanda Knox, who was wrongfully convicted of the murder of British student Meredith Kercher in 2007, will be talking to Ray about the whole experience. Also on the show is Allie Sherlock, the young busker who recently took the Ellen Show by storm. #raydarcyshow

Suffragette (Channel 4, 9pm)

Women over 30 in the UK and Ireland won the right to vote 100 years ago this week – to mark the occasion, Channel 4 is airing this drama about the suffragette movement. Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham-Carter, and Meryl Streep star.

Everybody’s talking about: Celebrity Big Brother

Celebrity Big Brother Final 2018 Ian West / PA Wire Ian West / PA Wire / PA Wire

And Courtney Act is the (very deserving) winner! The RuPaul’s Drag Race alum impressed viewers with her intelligence and compassion when helping the other housemates to understand LGBT issues.

Despite all this, anti-gay politician Ann Widdecombe somehow came second. The world is a confusing place.
