REMEMBER LOGAN PAUL?

That guy on Youtube who uploaded a video of a suicide victim in Japan’s Aokigahara forest in December? Most people weren’t too familiar with Logan Paul until his extremely obnoxious and tactless behavior made headlines late last year.

Here’s a video of how he usually carries on:

The 22-year-old released an apology after facing backlash for the insensitive video in Japan’s ‘suicide forest’. He told his fans:

The intent was not to be heartless, cruel or malicious. I made a huge mistake. I don’t expect to be forgiven. I am ashamed of myself. I’m disappointed in myself. And I promise to be better.

Apparently that was a promise he did not intend to keep, because just weeks later the Youtuber uploaded a video of himself tasering two dead rats and removing live fish from water to ‘perform CPR’ on them.

After people complained about this video, and how it’s not suitable for Logan Paul’s audience – who are mostly young children – Youtube released a statement. They have ‘temporarily’ suspended ads on his channels.

After careful consideration we have decided to temporarily suspend ads on Logan Paul’s Youtube channels. This is not a decision we made lightly, however, we believe he has exhibited a pattern of behaviour in his videos that makes his channel not only unsuitable for advertisers, but also potentially damaging to the broader creator community.

It’s estimated that Logan Paul’s income from Youtube videos is somewhere around $1.2 million per month.
