Potential romance was ruined by eggs on this week's First Dates
RTÉ RTÉ
THERE WERE A couple of highlights on last night’s episode of First Dates.
One dater named Jack earned plenty of attention on Twitter for his extremely tight jeans.
He took to Twitter to inform viewers that he’ll opt for some different jeans next time.
Unfortunately, things didn’t work out with Jack and his date Mila. Probably because she thought his name was Mateo. As in… Mateo, the Maitre D’. Not a big deal though, he clearly couldn’t remember her name either.

Then we had Jamie and Anthony…

Lovely Welshman Jamie was matched with a Canadian named Anthony who was new to Dublin. Jamie shared what it was like coming out when he was a teenager in Wales.
Unsurprisingly, it wasn’t very fun. He was beaten up several times, and dealt with the bullying by laughing at asking for more, just to take the enjoyment out of it for the boys who would hit him.
Jamie and Anthony ended their date as friends, but Jamie updated RTÉ and let them know he’s currently dating someone and life’s going well for him.

Another date was destroyed by chickens.
RTÉ RTÉ
45-year-old Elizabeth, whose nerves made her speak french, was matched with egg farmer Clive.

The conversation eventually drifted towards his vocation and Elizabeth wasn’t a bit impressed by the fact that Clive’s hens weren’t free range.
When she asked if the chickens had to be ‘egged’ every day, Clive responded “seventeen or eighteen hundred dozen a day.” Elizabeth asked if all of these chickens were free range and he explained that they’re not.

Things didn’t work out between the pair, because Elizabeth clearly thought that Clive was a bad egg.
