Jason Lewis, the man who played Kim Cattrall’s most memorable boyfriend on SATC, seems to be backing Sarah Jessica Parker in their feud.

While speaking to Los Angeles radio station KTLA, the actor who played Smith Jerrod in the Sex and the City series and movies was asked about the Kim Cattrall/Sarah Jessica Parker feud. His response?

If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.
He continued:
No, listen. I would have to say that Sarah was always so lovely and just a constant professional. And I think that people should remember their graciousness and the things that have been given to them. And I’m gonna stop there.

Jason Lewis was then asked if he was ‘Team Sarah’, to which he replied “I might just have to say yeah.” He then called Sarah Jessica Parker a “gracious lady” who was always nice to him.  (Vanity Fair)

gogglebox-mod Channel 4 Channel 4

One of Gogglebox’s most beloved participants is set to leave the show.

Chris Butland (right) is departing from Gogglebox after five years on the show. His on-screen partner and ex-boyfriend Stephen Webb will remain on the show. The hairdresser from Brighton is likely to be replaced by Stephen’s mother.

A Channel 4 spokesperson thanked Chris for his “fantastic contributions across ten series.” Chris released his own statement on Twitter, writing:

After 10 series, a wedding, and a helluva lot of takeaways, our lovely dogs and I have decided it’s time to say a very fond farewell to our Gogglebox family. I’ve loved every minute of being on the show and will never forget all the amazing things it’s allowed me to do. Since my wedding, it’s felt like there should be a new start, so I’m taking the plunge to see what’s out there.

He added that he’s looking forward to pursuing a career in TV and is looking forward to showing viewers that he has ‘many more talents’.  (Metro)

Harvey Weinstein allegations Anthony Devlin Anthony Devlin

Harvey Weinstein has apologised to Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lawrence for using their comments about him in his legal defense.

Earlier this week, Meryl Streep learned that Weinstein was using a comment she made in the past in an attempt to have a class-action lawsuit made against him thrown out. Meryl Streep had said that “Weinstein had always been respectful to her in their working relationship”, while Lawrence similarly said that “he has only ever been nice” to her.

When Meryl Streep heard that these comments were being used, she said that Weinstein was “pathetic and exploitative.”

A spokesperson for Weinstein has since said:

Mr Weinstein acknowledges the valuable input both Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lawrence have contributed to this conversation and apologises. Moving forward, Mr. Weinstein has advised his counsel to not include specific names of former associates; and to avoid whenever possible, even if they are in the public record.
