LAST MONTH, ACTOR Rob Delaney shared the horrible news that his two-year-old son Henry had passed away after suffering with a brain tumour.

In a heartbreaking Facebook post, Delaney wrote that he was devastated:

Henry was a joy. He was smart, funny, and mischievous and we had so many wonderful adventures together, particularly after he’d moved home following fifteen months living in hospitals.

Delaney thanked all of the NHS staff who treated Henry during his illness. Today, thanked Makaton sign language teachers Singing Hands for the huge difference they made in Henry’s life.

Singing Hands shared a tweet to mark International Women’s Day, where they shared with their followers how to sign the word ‘Woman’. Rob shared their tweet and wrote:

Singing Hands were prob my son Henry’s favourite thing in the world. They combined songs and the Makaton language of signs/symbols for people for whom speaking efficiently is difficult or impossible. I love them forever.

He went on to explain why Henry was unable to communicate with his voice.
