ON LAST NIGHT’S episode of The Young Offenders, Conor and Jock planned to head to the cinema with Linda and Siobhán.

What trip to the cinema would be complete without some alcopops? Jock headed to an off licence with his Fake Billy mask and fleeced the place before making his way to the bus.

Unfortunately, he was spotted by the real Billy, who was determined to catch him and get some revenge.

Billy followed Fake Billy to the bus, ready to find out who had landed him in jail for six months by committing crimes while impersonating him. Luckily, Jock accidentally dropped the mask on the way up the stairs, so Billy had no idea who the mastermind behind Fake Billy really was.

So, he took the entire bus hostage until he was able to find out.

Swinging his knife around and screaming manically, Billy terrified all of the passengers. The driver was told to keep driving, and the passengers were having a pretty awful time. That was until Billy managed to get them a free takeaway by negotiating with the Garda.

Siobhán broke her huge news to Jock, and here’s how he reacted…

First he was like this:

But then after a few minutes, he was like this:

Everyone on the bus ate their takeaway before having a little singsong, and they decided that Billy was a “nice kidnapper”.

Billy used his knife as a microphone.

And Conor finally kissed Linda!

Everyone was having such a good time, that they barely even wanted to get off of the bus. Unfortunately, they finally reached a Garda blockade and had to bring their little road trip to an end.

After all of the fun they had on the bus, Conor couldn’t help but feel sorry for Billy. He began to think about what Billy must have been through in his life, to be the way that he is. Conor couldn’t bear the thought of Billy getting life in prison over a stupid prank that him and Jock pulled.

So he came up with a plan to protect Billy.

Everyone was Billy Murphy. Thanks to Conor, Billy got the chance to escape. He walked off into a hedge and left the scene of the crime. Siobhán was reunited with her father, who promised he’d never fight with her again. So, what better chance to break the news?

The emotional ending had plenty of people on Twitter talking.
