Kanye’s Twitter account has been a real roller-coaster this week.

IT HAS BEEN a long, long week for anyone who has been keeping an eye on Kanye West’s Twitter.

From his decision to make his profuse admiration of Donald Trump public, to the massive list of celebs who unfollowed him for doing so, and the sharing of his latest track which features the lyrics “poopedy scoop“, Kanye has been at it almost constantly.

On top of all of that, Kanye was even uploading screenshots that showed him rejecting the supportive text messages he was receiving from John Legend.

Last night, Kanye shared screenshots of some other text messages.

This time he was deciding on a title and cover art for the album he’s set to release soon. (Yeah – it’s safe to say that’s why he’s been carrying on like this all week). Writing to a friend called Wes, Kanye said:

This is my album cover. This is plastic surgeon Jan Adams. The person who performed my moms final surgery. Do you have any title ideas? I want to forgive and stop hating.

Wes suggested that Kanye name the album “LOVE EVERYONE”, and Kanye replied “I love that.”

Here’s some background on what’s so significant about that text message.

Remember Kanye’s public breakdown in 2016? Three songs into a concert that he showed up an hour and a half later to on the 20th of November, 2016, Kanye compared himself to Donald Trump in a 17-minute long rant before storming off stage and cancelling the rest of the tour.

He was hospitalised and placed on psychiatric hold that evening.

This date, the 20th of November, was the anniversary of his mother’s funeral. Kanye’s mother, Donda West, passed away in 2007 following complications from plastic surgery. In the years leading up to Kanye’s hospitalisation, he had publicly spoken about how he felt responsible for Donda’s death. He told Q magazine:

If I had never moved to L.A., she’d be alive. I don’t want to go far into it because it will bring me to tears.

Kanye suspected that surgeon Jan Adams was responsible for Donda West’s death, but Jan has denied any wrongdoing. Other plastic surgeons had refused to operate on Donda West because she had a condition that believed may have led to complications during surgery.

A Beverly Hills surgeon told CNN that he had refused to operate on Kanye West’s mother, before Jan Adams had agreed to do so:

I always insist on a medical clearance for women over 40, and in this instance it was particularly important because of a condition she had that I felt could have led to a heart attack.

Kanye’s fans on Twitter think that his decision to forgive Jan Adams and leave this in the past is a pretty big deal.
