ARIANA GRANDE HAS, understandably, kept a pretty low profile since the harrowing events that occurred at her concert in Manchester last year.
After an absence of 11 months from the public eye, on the 20th of April, she released her uplifting new banger No Tears Left to Cry, which has been viewed nearly 85,000,000 times over the last two weeks. Ariana has also returned to TV, with her 2018 television debut taking place on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The 24-year-old singer was extremely eager to share all of the details of her upcoming album. She revealed that it will be called Sweetener and that it will be released this summer. Jimmy was delighted that she was giving away so many details, and Ariana told him:
Later in the interview, Jimmy addressed her absence since the Manchester attack. He said:
Ariana was visibly emotional as she thanked Jimmy Fallon.
Despite the heavy feelings at the end of Ariana’s interview, she managed to keep her sense of humour during the rest of the show. At one point, she played the musical genre challenge, and gave a goth rock performance of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Humble’, in the style of Evanescence.
At another point in the show, Ariana surprised some of her biggest fans by showing up while they sang her song ‘One Last Time’.
Their reactions were fairly priceless.
