OVER THE WEEKEND while everybody was enjoying (or complaining about) the royal wedding, one Belfast mammy was very busy trying to console her poor daughter who fully believed that she was owed an invitation to wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Ashlee Brown uploaded the video of her trying to explain to her daughter Lola that she was not, in fact, going to the royal wedding.
You have to be invited to go to the royal wedding. You can’t just go because you want to. You didn’t get an invitation, love. They royal wedding is only for royalty.
Lola thought her mam was having a laugh. “Are you just joking me?” Before saying “I was so looking forward to it, and you said I was going.”
I never said you were going, I said your school was having a royal wedding tea party!

Ashlee tried to comfort her daughter by saying “You have to be a real princess to go to the royal wedding.”
Although we feel sorry for little Lola, we really can’t help but laugh when she says “So, do I just have to stay in the house?” when she finally accepts that she’s not going to be joining Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at their wedding.
