Viewers were cracked up after the Love Island girls attempted to have a discussion about Brexit
ITV ITV
THE LOVE ISLAND contestants are pretty isolated out there in their villa, so we don’t expect them to be completely clued in on all current events.
However, it’s been two years since the UK voted to leave the European Union, and somehow the entire referendum went totally over Hayley’s head.
ITV ITV
The girls were sitting outside on the beanbags, when Georgia randomly just asked the group “What d’ya think about Brexit?” Hayley responded “W-what’s that?” Samira and Georgia explained that Britain was leaving the European Union, and Hayley replied “I seriously don’t know what that is.”
Georgia explained a little bit futher:
Hayley’s response? “Does that mean we won’t have any trees?” It sounded like she was having a completely different conversation altogether.
Whoops!

Samira then thought that Hayley was talking about cheese, and Hayley said “No! Trees.” Georgia then explained “No, that’s got nothing to do with it, babe. That’s the weather.”
Georgia then asked “Doesn’t it mean, it’ll be harder to like, go to like, Spain and stuff?” When Hayley heard that her holidays were at risk, she became considerably more engaged. “So it’ll be harder to go on holidays? Oh, I love my holidays.”
Twitter could not believe what they were seeing unfold on those beanbags.

And people try to say that this show doesn’t offer any real entertainment.
