Piers Morgan tried to embarrass Hayley from Love Island with a math question and made a show of himself in the process
ALMOST TWO WEEKS ago, a significant number of people on social media were in complete disbelief as they watched Hayley from Love Island ask the other girls in the villa if Brexit meant that all of the trees in the UK would be cut down.
ITV ITV
As we all know by now, Hayley left the villa on Friday evening. Since then, she’s been having the usual chats that people from reality TV have on morning-time television once they’ve gotten the boot.
During Hayley’s appearance on Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan was delighted that he had the opportunity to make it clear that he was more intelligent than somebody else. He tried to get a few patronising comments in against Hayley, and in the process of doing so, made a real fool of himself.

Piers asked “Do you know the Pythagoras theorem? To the nearest 5 decimal places?” Which made zero sense. Morgan’s co-host Susanna Reid repeatedly asked him if he even knew the answer to that question and he tried to casually ignore her as he asked Hayley what her favourite colour was to divert attention away from himself.
Finally, he said “I do actually, yeah.” Before (incorrectly) naming the numbers beyond the decimal in pi. Someone behind the camera pointed out that he was incorrect and he had an even more embarrassing outburst.
