An Irish wedding singer has gone viral for seriously winding up his mam ahead of a performance

IT’S NOT VERY difficult to wind up an Irish mam. Especially when she’s already stressed to the high heavens ahead of an occasion like a wedding. However, the fact that it’s easy to do doesn’t make it any less funny.
So, Dubliner Gerard Kelly took full advantage of an opportunity he had over the weekend when he was on the way to a wedding in Wexford with his mam.
Gerard had been asked to sing ‘In a Country Churchyard’ by Chris de Burgh at the wedding and while they were driving down to Wexford, he decided to pretend that he didn’t know the lyrics.
This almost pushed his poor mam Mary over the edge. She sang the song for him, and corrected him on each mistake he purposely made. Brace yourself for some eh, colourful language.
Gerard sang “Over the hill, where the river meets the mill / A lovely boy has-” before his mam interrupted:
