What to watch on TV tonight: Tuesday

This is the telly everyone will be talking about.

The Good Fight (RTÉ 2, 9.30pm)

Episode one of the new series of US legal drama spin-off of The Good Wife. An enormous financial scam destroys the reputation of a young lawyer named Maia Rindell, while simultaneously wiping out the savings of her mentor and godmother Diane Lockhart. Forced out of the law firm where Lockhart is a partner and Rindell a new associate, they join Lucca Quinn at one of Chicago’s preeminent legal companies.

Home and Away: Endless Summer (RTÉ 2, 8.30pm)

A milestone one-off special to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Australian soap. It will feature the shows most popular stars, a surprise reunion, some shocking revelations and plenty of tears.

 The Specialist (3, 9pm)

Sylvester Stallone and Sharon Stone star in this 1994 action-thriller about a CIA demolition expert who is contacted by a man who wants his daughter’s kidnappers murdered. The former CIA expert ends up falling in love with the kidnapped daughter, and things get even more complicated when he learns his partner from the CIA is working for the mobsters he has been hired to kill.

Everybody’s talking about… Series 4 of Catastrophe.

Last night Rob Delaney announced that the show has finished filming for the fourth series and it’s “pretty good”.

  • DIY SOS: The Big Build (3, 8pm) Tonight the home renovation series heads to Cheltenham to build a home for a 17-year-old Paralympic athlete Scott Jones.
