What to watch on TV tonight: Monday
DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about today and talking about tomorrow
Old People’s Home for 4-Year-Olds (Channel 4, 9pm)
The documentary continues tonight, following a group of four-year-olds who join a new nursery set within a retirement village on the outskirts of Nottingham. In week three, the timetable is all about memory. Can everybody remember each other’s name well enough to write them on a blackboard? Who will need to cheat? After that, the pensioners and the four-year-old kids take a field trip to a nearby maze and new friendships between the kids and elderly residents begin to blossom when four-year-old Lily convinces 87-year-old Ken to swap his chips for her vegetables.
Eamonn & Ruth: How the Other Half Lives (Virgin Media Two: 8.30pm)
New series in which Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes shed some light on the lives of the world’s richest people. They start their journey off with a trip to New York, which is home to more billionaires than any other city in the world. They meet a family who run a hotel empire together, and examine their day-to-day lifestyles (which include activities such as eating $1,000 ice cream sundaes covered in 24-carat gold), before heading to meet a woman who has lived in a luxury hotel for the last 23 years.
Celebs Go Dating (E4, 10pm)
Olivia Attwood, Chloe Sims and Sam Craske head out for dates on the first night, unaware of the fact that agents Paul and Nadia are watching their every move from a nearby surveillance room.
Everybody’s talking about… Gemma Collins ‘threatening to quit’ Dancing on Ice.
The rumours aren’t true, apparently. A spokesperson from the show has denied reports and says “Gemma is loving being on the show and we love having her.”
Or flick over for…
