5 NYE looks that you won't have to put on tan for
WE’RE ON THE home stretch – the final sesh before we all head back to work over the next few days.
Yes, New Year’s Eve has arrived and with it, somewhat of a conclusion to a month of hot whiskeys after work, Baileys in front of the telly and a never-ending struggle to find something to wear.

Having worked my way through every ‘nice top’ and ‘party piece’ I own, I’m now left with not a whole pile of options.
Not only that, but after a month of intense personal maintenance, the levels of effort I’m willing to go to for a night out have fallen significantly.
I can just about muster up the energy to do some messy waves and contour off some of the five pounds I’ve gained in my face alone over the last week.
What I cannot be arsed with is tanning – or shaving my legs for that matter.
Thankfully, that doesn’t mean the world has to know that. There are plenty of ways to disguise my sheer laziness on this, the final hurrah of 2018.
Here are five of Instagram’s most stylish ladies sharing the perfect inspo for those who can’t be bothered with a mitt or a razor this New Year’s Eve.
1. Sequin suit

Amy Fuchsia’s suit makes head-to-toe sparkle look easy.
Yes, a two-piece can be daunting, especially one that’s embellished with leopard print sequins, but this River Island suit is the perfect way to maximize NYE glam and minimize effort.

Blazer – €80, Trousers – €60
2. Smart layering

Who says you can’t keep cosy on night out? Long gone are the days of freezing your nips off in a Lipsy bodycon dress, as now knitwear and boots are perfectly acceptable attire.
Stylist Courtney Smith proves that dressing up your winter wardrobe can be easy when you introduce some luxe fabrics like silk.
Zara Zara
Skirt – €39.95, Boots – €119
3. Print overload

Niamh Cullen is like most Irish girls – mad for a bit of tan. Yes, the influencer rarely steps out without a bronzed glow, however, in this look, she could have saved herself the bother.
The PrettyLittleThing two-piece she’s been loving requires minimal tanning and for that reason alone, we’re sold.

Shirt - €35, Trousers – €40
4. Just the one

You can’t beat a jumpsuit for a big night out. All the dressiness of a gúna with the comfort of a pair of trousers.
We’re mad about LoveLauren’s white one-piece from H&M, although we wouldn’t be drinking red wine in this if we were you.
H&M H&M
Jumpsuit – €39.99
5. Party pyjamas

One of the hardest parts about New Year’s Eve is the realization that we have to take off our pyjamas for the first time in days.
Thankfully, this suit that Sophia Rosemary wore over the festive season is both as cosy as our jim-jams and, you’ve guessed it, not going to require a lick of Sally.
