WE’RE ON THE home stretch – the final sesh before we all head back to work over the next few days.
Yes, New Year’s Eve has arrived and with it, somewhat of a conclusion to a month of hot whiskeys after work, Baileys in front of the telly and a never-ending struggle to find something to wear.
Having worked my way through every ‘nice top’ and ‘party piece’ I own, I’m now left with not a whole pile of options.
Not only that, but after a month of intense personal maintenance, the levels of effort I’m willing to go to for a night out have fallen significantly.
I can just about muster up the energy to do some messy waves and contour off some of the five pounds I’ve gained in my face alone over the last week.
What I cannot be arsed with is tanning – or shaving my legs for that matter.
Thankfully, that doesn’t mean the world has to know that. There are plenty of ways to disguise my sheer laziness on this, the final hurrah of 2018.
