The budget beauty bits Ashley Graham used to get Oscars ready
WHEN IT COMES to red carpet events, we can often get blindsided by the big gowns, forgetting that there’s a lot more that goes into perfecting the look than just picking the right dress.

Yes, we see it up and down our Instagram feed as celebs thank their ‘glam squads’ for getting them red carpet-ready but unlike their outfits, the beauty bits they use are often way more affordable.
While we might never be able to get our hands on a Vivienne Westwood gown, we can definitely pick up some of the makeup products these celeb glam squads swear by.
One woman who is proving just that and was repping a face full of budget beauty brands last night was Ashley Graham.
The model walked the red carpet last night in a custom Zac Posen gown but wearing makeup you can pick up at Boots.
Ashley has been a face for the makeup brand Revlon since early last year and since then, is more often than not wearing products from their range when she hits the red carpet – and last night was no different.
Makeup artist Kate Synnott shared a glimpse at some of the kit she brought with her to transform Ashley ahead of Hollywood’s biggest night and many of them looked very familiar.
On her skin, Kate used Revlon’s new Candid foundation and concealer which is yet to be released here in Ireland. On her cheeks she used the Instant Cheek Maker in ‘Make Me Bronze’, finishing with a touch of powder blush in ‘Naughty Nude’ to complete Ashley’s base.
For the eyes, Kate opted for a very soft, blown-out smokey look created with the ColourStay cream eyeshadow in ‘Cognac’, LooksBook palette in ‘Enigma’ and a simple black eyeliner.
She applied tonnes of volumising mascara (and a few individual falsies too – duh!) and finished the look with a mix of two demi-matte nude lippies in the shades ‘Audacious Mauve’ and ‘Nude Attitude’.
While not all the products Kate used on Ashley are available in Ireland yet, all of those that are all come in under €15.
Much cheaper than a Zac Posen gown, I’d imagine.
