The owner of the B&B on At Your Service didn't like the internet and Francis wasn't happy
RTE RTE
THE THIRD EPISODE of At Your Service was an Easter Sunday treat last night, as the Brennans arrived down to healing therapist Finola’s guesthouse in Wexford ready to get stuck in.
And they discovered a gaff in the middle of being renovated – with plenty of work to be done:

Francis’s first impression?
Indeed.
The renovation is well under way when the brothers arrived, and they discovered that Finola didn’t have all that much experience in the hospitality industry

They had their worried faces on

The Brennans had a walk on the beach and wondered aloud whether Finola had it in her to run a full guest house with such a lack of experience

So they sent her off to get a bit of work experience in another guesthouse.
And it was there they told her that email and the internet is *essential* to the running of any B&B

The sarcasm at home was coming through strong on this issue
She spoke to John about the internet issue, as it cropped up again:
“We have a conflict of interest here because I have no interest in being on the internet, and it’s becoming less John, not more”

John had a fairly snappy comeback:
“So you don’t want to be found anywhere, no?”
RTE RTE
“You’re wrong – sorry to be so bold with you – not to be online and making that your main vehicle for getting your business in”
RTE RTE
No holding back at all
By the end of the show, Francis arrived and the rooms had been transformed

He was delighted.
He wasn’t as happy when he heard they still hadn’t got internet installed though

And weren’t half the country looking it up online to see for themselves

All in all, a fine job in the end – and everyone enjoyed themselves at the launch party
