LOST AND FOUND is usually a pretty tedious place.
Not at Mondello Park. A responsible mammy or daddy left their baby doll at the park this weekend after watching a race at the venue.
Not a real baby, obviously.
In order to find their parents, the staff at the park had a bit of fun
They wrote:
There has been a lost child found here at Mondello Park who obviously enjoyed the weekends racing. We’re going to look after him for the day and take him on some adventures around Mondello until his mam or dad is found.
The day just got better and better
The doll was given VIP access to everything, even the cars
Baby wanted to go for a drive in the BMW Ireland Driving Experience #M2, unfortunately he can’t see over the steering wheel yet so we took him for a very safe, slow passenger lap.
Only another er, 17 years until he can drive.
Oddly enough, the baby started taking over
Things are getting sinister now
The doll even started calling meetings about important issues on the track
Then they just full on started training the baby
We’ve decided to train the baby in as a member of our Mondello Park Track Team to help out the brilliant guys and gals that patrol the banks!
Will this baby ever want to go home?
We’ve been keeping a close eye on the baby all day we swear but it’s tough work! We turned our back for 5 seconds and next thing we knew, there was a Porsche 911 Carrera on track!
The baby became something of a permanent fixture
Well, the child is a genius
Baby decided to try out one our single seaters, but he didn’t feel the rear suspension was quite right for someone of his style, so he decided to do some tweaking…
He was even given the Mondello Marathon medal. Look at him loving the podium!
Luckily, the poor little baby was claimed earlier today, and his mammy was only delighted to get baby Jake back.
Let’s hope he keeps up his mechanic work.
