CHINESE DIVER HE Zi won a silver medal in the Olympic 3m springboard final in Rio last night.
Just as she left the podium and started her lap of honour around the pool, her boyfriend and fellow Chinese Olympian Qin Kai got down on one knee to propose.
And she said yes
While many have called the proposal “romantic” and celebrated the moment, others haven’t been quite so enthusiastic.

It’s the second marriage proposal of the 2016 Olympics, and there’s still a full week left. No matter what side of the argument you fall on, everyone is just waiting for a flash mob proposal during the closing ceremony to complete the full set.
