CONSIDERING WE’VE ALREADY had pizzas with hot dog, cheeseburger, and Doritos crusts, this seems a little tame.
But US pizza chain Little Caesars is once again pushing the boundaries of pizza as we know it, offering a new pizza with a crust entirely wrapped in bacon.
Little Caesars will launch the new deep dish pizza, which appears to be the size and depth of your average casserole, next Monday.
According to USA Today, there is three and a half feet of bacon wrapped around the crust of each pizza.
Three and a half feet. That is around the same height as the average four-year-old child.
“Every time you take a bite out of the crust, you’ll get bacon,” Little Caesars CEO David Scrivano tells USA Today.
Is this heaven or is this hell? We’re not sure anymore.
