SINGER ERYKAH BADU has been fined $500 and six months in probation for stripping naked in Dallas city centre for a music video.
In the video, the singer, who is from Dallas, takes her clothes off and re-enacts the moment President JFK was shot dead at the scene of his death.
A spokesperson for Dallas city says she has paid the fine.

Dallas residents complained that the assassination scene was in poor taste. Responding to criticism that Badu should not have stripped in front of children, the singer said:
I didn’t think about them until I saw them, and in my mind I tried to telepathically communicate my good intent to them. That’s all I could do, and I hoped they wouldn’t be traumatized.
People in the background of the video are not extras, they just happened to be on the street as Badu filmed her video.
